Pay Range:

$83,400.00 - $137,100.00

Position Summary:

Visualizing, characterizing & quantifying tissue transcriptomic profiles has become imperative to advancing science, particularly in the following fields: Single-cell biology, Neuroscience, Oncology, Infectious Disease and Gene Therapy.  The Bio-Techne Spatial Biology product line addresses this burgeoning field with our ability to visualize & quantify any gene, in any species, in any tissue/cell down to single-molecule, single-cell level.  Guaranteed.  Join us and you will make a difference & impact the future of spatial biology.

This position will cover our Mountain State Territory. Mountain States is a sparse territory with many states including CO, IA, KS, AZ, NM, UT.

Business Acumen

  • Development of a strategic territory and account-specific sales plan.
  • Accountability to execute plan and meet sales quotas.
  • Effectively prospect and generate new customer leads – hunter mentality.
  • Delivery of technical/scientific seminars and presentations on Spatial Biology Division products and their capabilities.
  • Demonstrate role and relevance of the Advanced Cell Diagnostics product portfolio and provide consultation support to our customers.
  • Demonstrate command of scientific knowledge to engage in a collaborative sales process.
  • Partner cross-functionally to appropriately address customer needs.
  • Engage customers in both simple and complex sales environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer connections at various levels in the customer organization
  • Successfully navigate representing new technology and ACD brand.
  • Engage in accurate forecasting and Salesforce.com activities.

Education and Experience:

  • BSc or higher in Molecular Biology or related life science field.
  • Sales experience covering academic sales

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 1+ years field-based Life Science Sales experience.
  • Working understanding of RNA sequencing, transcriptomics and basic molecular biology.
  • Goal oriented, competitive, persistent with a new customer recruitment focus.
  • Strives constantly for personal growth.
