Who We Are Looking For: 
We’re seeking a positive, poised and buttoned-up Account Director. This person should have a team-oriented attitude, be proactive in adding value and have a strong voice to manage and lead the day-to-day account. This person should not wait for projects to be assigned, but should be comfortable digging into the clients’ business to help elicit success and growth. They will be resourceful, resilient and always focused on solutions. A successful candidate will work hard, laugh along the way, evolve with the challenge and be proud of the work delivered.   

Responsibilities:

  • Flawlessly manage the day-to-day running of the account in order to ensure the delivery of great, effective work. 
  • Be a proactive and confident leader who is capable of running projects independently and takes pride in their work. 
  • Be the ultimate over-communicator, managing up, down and across departments to ensure all are in lockstep.  
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the client’s business: structure, objectives, obstacles, competition, industry trends, opportunities for optimization, etc. 
  • Build and own relationships with key clients, internal teams and external partners, including strong collaboration with our Media and agency partners.  
  • Uphold our brave culture and foster an environment of positivity, empathy, thoughtfulness and respect for all.  
  • Be responsible for delivering against the direction set by the Managing Director. 
  • Oversee and mentor the team. 
  • Day-to-day management and administration of the account. 
  • Develop a meaningful relationship with clients, partners and internal counterparts and become their go-to person. Demonstrate the ability to engage with them on business and strategic challenges for the team to overcome. 
  • Assist Managing Director in ensuring that campaign ideas are integrated across all facets of client’s marketing. 
  • Oversee production of all projects, independently and confidently. 
  • Partner with Strategic Planning on creative brief development. 
  • Work with project management and production to develop project budgets and schedules. 
  • Support in the creative development process; be comfortable running projects independently. 
  • Help creative teams by providing any insight they need to successfully develop work throughout the entire process. 
  • Serve as the agency-of-record lead by partnering closely with external media and PR agency partners on the status of all projects. Ensure that everything we do is collectively working together efficiently and for the good of the client. 
  • Ongoing pursuit of opportunities to add value including ways to continuously improve processes and communication with internal teams and client. 
  • Be a center of excellence for the team at all times. Stay current on best practices across all channels that we oversee including social media.  
  • Oversee the team on client budget and billing. 
  • Partner with and/or Oversee the team on:  
  • Maintenance of weekly client status reports and meetings 
  • Ensuring all assets (schedules, briefs, decks, etc.) are being housed in an organized manner on the server 
  • Tracking of all talent management, in partnership with D&G Business Affairs team 
  • Development of presentation materials 
  • Managing the client’s compliance and legal requirements 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of agency experience at a creatively driven agency 
  • Must have strong production experience, cross-channel 360 ideally and social media experience a must 
  • QSR experience nice to have, but not critical 
  • Strong, entrepreneurial spirit and drive 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships 
  • Proactive, strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented 
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferred

The role is based in Los Angeles, CA.  
 
The base salary range is $140k - $160k plus benefits.
