We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Director (Sales) to join our team and contribute to the success of our Yahoo Demand-Side Platform (DSP) sales efforts. As an Account Director, you will drive revenue growth, build strong client relationships, and provide strategic guidance to our customers. Your primary focus will be selling the Yahoo DSP to advertisers, agencies, and brands, helping them achieve their marketing objectives through programmatic advertising.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for the Yahoo DSP.

  • Identify and target potential clients, including advertisers, agencies, and brands, to promote the Yahoo DSP's value and benefits.

  • Build a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities to ensure consistent revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with the sales team and senior management to create compelling sales strategies and tactics.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations, acting as their trusted advisor.

  • Understand client business objectives, marketing goals, and challenges to propose tailored solutions using the Yahoo DSP.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and advantages of the Yahoo DSP.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Consultative Selling and Solution Development:

  • Analyze client needs and objectives, leveraging your expertise in programmatic advertising and the Yahoo DSP to develop customized solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and product development, to meet client requirements.

  • Stay current with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Yahoo DSP product and engineering teams to provide customer feedback, contribute to product roadmap discussions, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with the account management team to ensure seamless onboarding, campaign execution, and optimization for clients.

  • Coordinate with the finance and legal departments to negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Early-career professional or recent graduate with a passion for sales, media, or technology.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The compensation for this position ranges from $163,125.00 - $340,000.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
