The Dynata Account Director/Account Executive, MRA role exists to drive profitable and sustainable business growth for our most important clients so that the clients would not consider taking their business elsewhere.  We adopt a strategic and disciplined approach to managing accounts and set and follow a fruitful long-term account strategy that is measurable and can be used to track the success of the portfolio. We are experts on the client and know what they need before they do.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Master Dynata products, services, pricing, and how to apply these to satisfy client needs and fulfill project requirements

  • Prospect and discover new key Individuals in the account and build new relationships

  • Be in person with the customer 5 a week/20 meetings per month on average

  • Leverage data to analyze, plan and forecast assigned accounts and continue to grow target accounts YoY.

  • Manage assigned accounts, utilizes knowledge to support the customer with Dynata products

  • Seek competitive insights and intelligence to inform the company of challenges and opportunities in the marketplace

  • Conducts discovery calls with decision makers and influencers

  • Qualify accounts to determine fit for the business and effective use of company resources

  • Partners with internal stakeholders to achieve successful client interactions and project outcomes

  • Work closely with Sales leadership to ensure account strategy is aligned with company goals and objectives

  • Be willing to travel 50%-70% of the time

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong Prospecting and Closing skills

  • Strong Client Relationship building skills

  • Ability to forecast within a 3% margin of committed revenue

  • Ability to quickly build and manage a pipeline

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Expert at discovery and understands the client’s needs beyond the details of a quote and leverages knowledge to uncover additional needs we can meet.

  • Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years of closing experience and/or Account Management experience with a Revenue Objective

  • Demonstrated experience of exceeding quota year over year

  • Experience working with a CRM (e.g., salesforce or BOS), and web conferencing software (GoToMeeting or WebEx

  • Nice to Have: Experience selling to or at a Market Research Agency

The base salary range for this position is $100K - $125K. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
