You'll Get To:
- Simultaneously architect and execute a strategic territory plan to penetrate new enterprise accounts (>$750M revenue) while also owning and nurturing a dedicated portfolio of existing top-tier customers.
- Drive the full sales cycle with self-sufficiency, from initial prospecting and identification to negotiation and closing of new business. Concurrently, manage the entire lifecycle of existing accounts, including successful renewals and identifying expansion opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives (CFOs, Controllers) in both new and existing accounts, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor who deeply understands their business priorities and critical initiatives.
- Move beyond technical features to articulate a clear and compelling return on investment. Map BlackLine's solutions to the specific business challenges and goals of your clients to drive adoption and demonstrate value.
- Translate your strategic activities into a predictable sales pipeline, consistently delivering on revenue targets and quota attainment from both new business and account expansion.
- Build and lead virtual teams, orchestrating internal resources across Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success, Pre-Sales, and Value Engineering to build meaningful relationships and deliver a world-class, seamless customer experience.
- Act as an active listener and a clear communicator to build credibility, foster trust, and influence buying decisions at the highest level of enterprise organizations.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in a customer-facing, quota-carrying role (like account management or sales) where you were responsible for growing a book of business, preferably in enterprise SaaS;
- Demonstrated experience navigating and selling to the Office of the CFO, understanding their unique challenges and priorities;
- A passion for building strong relationships and a consultative mindset that puts the customer's needs first;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling messages to a C-level audience;
- A strategic approach to account planning and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
