This is not a typical AE role. You will be one of the first Account Executives on a new Go-to-Market team dedicated to securing code in AI-native applications, operating in true startup mode inside a scaled company.
You will be at the tip of the spear, engaging enterprise customers as design partners, guiding their journey, capturing early adopters, and laying the foundation for significant ARR growth in 2026 and beyond. You’ll have a direct influence on product strategy and will be crucial in defining what “good” looks like for customers in this rapidly emerging AI security market.
What You’ll Do:Own the full sales cycle for enterprise design partners, from initial qualification to active adoption and conversion to paying customer.
Develop and manage executive-level relationships with key AI/ML security decision-makers (CISO, AI Security Engineer, DevSecOps, Platform, and Privacy Officers).
Partner with Solutions Engineers to deliver technical evaluations and PoVs, securing the AI-native development lifecycle.
Translate customer insights and feedback into structured, actionable loops for Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
Contribute to GTM collateral, case studies, and build repeatable playbooks for converting design partners into customers.
Represent Snyk at targeted industry events, conferences, and roundtables to shape the market narrative.
You have 7–10 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a strong track record of selling into Fortune 2000 or equivalent large enterprise accounts.
You bring experience in App Security, DevSecOps, ML/AI Tools, or developer tools—and ideally, experience with AI/ML security.
Proven ability to sell in ambiguous, early-stage environments, comfortable with undefined processes and building them from scratch.
You possess strong consultation skills and are able to work with multiple levels within a customer org (C-suite down to engineer).
You can manage the entire sales lifecycle, confidently forecasting short and long-term opportunities with detail and accuracy.
Have hands-on experience bringing a new, emerging product to market or working with design partners.
Have a deep understanding of AI/LLMs or modern application security tools.
Are a self-starter who thrives in a startup-like culture inside a larger organization.
Are highly collaborative and can influence disparate groups to move in the same direction (e.g., core AE, Product, Marketing).
Love a good meme. (We take our mission seriously, but not ourselves!).
