Are you a customer service and development-focused sales professional? As an Account Development Manager, you will help to service and develop customer accounts in Eastern Nova Scotia. You will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell Sico, PPG, and Dulux products to independent, corporate dealers, as well as professionals, prospection, and ensure business development by communicating new products and promotions.
  • Achieve sales target by ensuring the development of your territory.
  • Use sales tool (ClientLink CRM) to record calls, handle accounts, run reports etc.
  • Analyze territory performance reports and develop sales territory business plans.
  • Coordinate and lead training sessions to provide technical support to customers.
  • Increase overall market share with new business.
  • Complete large scale in-store merchandising resets, including following specific planograms and using some basic power tools to assemble displays.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of sales experience required; Previous coating experience an asset.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and have maintained a motor vehicle record within acceptable limits as prescribed by The Pittsburgh Paints Co.
  • Availability to work and travel within your assigned territory 80% of time.
  • Periodic weekends and/or evenings required for trade organization meetings and customer events.
  • 1-2 overnight stays per week
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed.

You may work remotely (no office reporting) and must live within the HRM-Truro region (Central Nova Scotia) and be willing travel within the Atlantic territory to support team initiatives periodically throughout the year.
