Job Description

Under the direction of the Senior Account Director, the Account Coordinator has responsibility for providing overall administrative and other general support as needed for assigned teams, including, but not limited to, project coordination, timeline coordination, project estimation, assistance with client correspondence and presentations, creation of statements of work/project initiation forms, internet research, maintaining accurate and up to date internal tracking systems to ensure client needs are met and exceeded. The Account Coordinator participates in client status calls as appropriate and works closely with Project Management and Account Services teams to help ensure that all key discussion points and action items are captured and communicated in an accurate and timely manner to the larger internal team as well as to the client. The Account Coordinator provides the team with proactive account support, while maintaining precise reporting and deliverables that drive client satisfaction and team success.

Job Duties

  • Assist account team in the daily servicing of clients as well as day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Support other agency activities on an as-needed basis
  • Develop and manage internal databases on behalf of clients and Synchrony
  • Support Account Services team in developing Statements of Work, Project Initiation Forms, and other new business initiatives
  • Provide backup as necessary to Account Services team for liaising with client teams
  • Capture notes and key action items from all internal and client discussions and work with Project Management and Account Services lead to inform larger internal team
  • Work with Project Management to help ensure accuracy of internal and client status reports
  • Develop PowerPoint slides, Excel spreadsheets, or Word documents as directed to capture information accurately and prepare for presentation of information to internal or external stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Account Services and Project Management teams to monitor and manage assigned activities to ensure timely delivery of products and services
  • Help to ensure team compliance with client contracts, timelines, and budgets
  • Work with other team members to ensure that Synchrony is meeting its goals, objectives, and corporate values
  • Develop thorough understanding of our industry, including Synchrony products and services and those of our competitors

  • Actively participate in internal brainstorm sessions and contribute ideas for projects
  • Represent the organization in an appropriate manner
  • Attend client meetings and communicate key learnings to team
  • Be a positive force for enhancing the work culture, consensus-building, and internal communications
  • Monitor industry and therapeutic area and best practices and advances to ensure that Synchrony and our clients are at the cutting edge or leading the field
  • Develop relationships with external vendors on behalf of Synchrony

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing and account/client services support or pharmaceutical marketing/sales and/or project management
  • Specific industry and/or therapeutic expertise is required
  • Expertise in MS Office software, social media, and internet search tools
  • Desire to learn and ability to work in service-oriented, team environment

Working Conditions

  • Ability to attend and conduct client meetings and presentations
  • Significant communication with clients and internal teams, including many presentations
  • Ability to travel as client needs require
  • Ability to commit to extra and/or nontraditional hours as client needs require
