The Account Coordinator is essential to Sunday Riley Modern Skincare’s success at store level.  The AC works at designated stores and has the primary responsibility of interacting with store employees and clients.  They represent Sunday Riley Modern Skincare mission statement, educate on SRMS products, teach selling and service techniques that generate sales.  Selling Specialists provide in-store brand support and trainings to drive sell through and conduct impactful sales-driven events to achieve set goals as directed by the Account Coordinator.  Through education and selling skills the AC is expected to achieve sales goals for their assigned stores.

The ideal candidate must enjoy the retail environment, have a passion for people and service, and have experience in retail, selling and education.  The candidate must be a strong seller, with the ability to pull, consult and build a sale while adhering to our retailer’s guidelines and standards.  A AC must have the ability to successfully plan and conduct events and trainings at store level. They should possess strong communication skills, execute timely reporting practices and have a collaborative relationship with their Account Executive.  Energy, passion and flexibility are crucial; must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities:

Sales, events, & education  

  • Achieve targeted sales goals for assigned stores as directed by Account Executive

  • Coordinate and schedule in-store sales support, events and education initiatives

  • Act as primary day-to-day brand contact for designated stores

  • Educate Sephora/ULTA/Speciality accounts with a focus on product knowledge & selling skills

  • Partner with the Account Executive and store teams to plan in-store events and education initiatives to drive sales and increase brand awareness

  • Evaluate each store’s sales results with Account Executive.

  • Build and develop strong relationships with retailer partners at store level

Operations

  • Complete schedules, and selling specialist time sheets, sales & event recaps by due dates

  • Review SRMS in-store merchandising, visual programs and communicate concerns to the Account Executive.

  • Be the “eyes and ears” of the brand at store level; provide continual communication of any store concerns, stock concerns, product issues, space and location challenges to Account Executive.

Work Location - Territory, Hub, and Work week

  • Tuesday through Saturday work week and a total of 40 hours. 3 weekends a month required for field event/selling support, additional seasonal weekend and PM hours maybe required.

  • Monthly travel may be required depending on territory size

  • It is expected that 4/5 days a week will be in the field supporting personal call cycle and monthly work-with with AE and Selling Specialists.

  • Bi-Weekly on Tuesday you will have expected office time during normal SRMS corporate hours for a total of 8 hours.

Preferred Qualification and Experience

  • 2-3 years of retail sales & preferably skincare experience

  • Demonstrated skills in communication, selling, product knowledge, events & education

  • Ability to take strategic direction based on sales analysis

  • Memorable, positive, professional & enthusiastic presence

  • Self-motivated, committed & goal-oriented individual

  • Multi-store visit calendar booking & management ability

  • Ability to travel as required

  • Flexibility with work hours, ie weekends & evenings

  • Experience working in an open-sell environment
