Job Mission:
Terraformation is on a mission to restore native forests to capture carbon, revive ecosystems, and support communities worldwide. Our Accelerator program develops high-impact carbon sequestration projects, and we need a Program Operations Manager to make it even stronger. In this role, you’ll streamline operations, guide teams through key processes, and identify opportunities to improve how we work. You’ll collaborate across teams—helping projects move faster, ensuring smooth execution, and driving changes that make a real impact.

Location: Remote; US, EST preferred (or GMT) 

Salary: $70,000 - 90,000, plus equity (depending on location and experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Guide internal teams through Accelerator processes and serve as the go-to expert for operations
  • Maintain clear documentation of requirements, best practices, and workflows
  • Identify bottlenecks, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to keep projects on track
  • Track project progression, risks, and key performance indicators to support project and portfolio reporting and strategic decision-making
  • Plan and lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of improvements
  • Coordinate resources and support collaboration across project leads, technical teams, and stakeholders
  • Develop tools, templates, and resources to enhance efficiency
  • Support governance processes by documenting and communicating key changes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or program management
  • Proven success in process improvement and change management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • Experience analyzing operational challenges and implementing effective solutions
  • Track record of driving strategic initiatives in complex, multi-stage projects
  • Experience designing and implementing international development, forest-based, or carbon-certified projects in complex environments
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and cultures; some travel required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
