Contract Duration: 4–6 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Up to USD97/hour

About our Client

Our client is a trusted cybersecurity firm specializing in securing enterprise systems and ensuring compliance across complex digital environments. We work with global organizations to strengthen their infrastructure and application layers through practical, hands-on security engagements.

We’re seeking an Application Security Engineer with deep expertise in SAP systems to support a short-term engagement focused on hardening, auditing, and improving security posture across SAP environments.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive review of SAP applications and infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with security best practices. This is a hands-on, full-time contract role — ideal for an experienced engineer who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and strengthen security configurations within SAP ABAP and HANA environments.

  • Perform vulnerability analysis and apply security patches as needed.

  • Implement and validate SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure secure system integrations and data access.

  • Provide documentation and recommendations to align with security and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications
  • US Citizen, located within the United States.

  • SAP Certified with proven experience in SAP ABAP and SAP HANA environments.

  • 5+ years of experience in application security, SAP security, or information security.

  • Strong understanding of SAP security architecture, user roles, and authorization concepts.

  • Ability to work independently and deliver within short timelines.

  • Available for full-time commitment (40 hours/week) for a 4–6 week contract.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with security auditing tools and SAP GRC.

  • Knowledge of network and infrastructure security in enterprise environments.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
