We Make Remote Work Remarkable • TopTalent from LatAm

Hello! We are GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service. GoFasti bridges the gap between world-class developers and designers from LatAm and first-class companies around the globe.

We need an English-fluent Fullstack Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Are you the one we are looking for?

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React, Python/Django, and GraphQL.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and efficient product features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and customer support, to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues.
  • Ensure application stability by debugging and fixing production issues quickly and effectively.
  • Contribute to system reliability by understanding and supporting AWS infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Participate in asynchronous development workflows, including code reviews and pull requests.
  • Work independently, managing priorities and delivering high-quality solutions without the need for micromanagement.
  • Continuously improve code quality, performance, and development best practices.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
  • Strong full-stack background with:
    ○ React
    ○ Python/Django
    ○ GraphQL
  • Exposure to DevOps, with the ability to:
    ○ Understand AWS systems and infrastructure.
    ○ Debug environment and deployment issues.
    ○ Keep systems stable and running smoothly.
  • Strong proficiency with Git/GitHub, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative workflows.
  • Strong experience using JavaScript, with a solid understanding of core concepts, best practices, and common patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with TypeScript, including type definitions, interfaces, generics, and writing strongly typed, scalable code.
  • Experience working with AI tools, APIs, and frameworks, such as LLM integration, automation, or AI-assisted features.
  • Practical experience building applications with Next.js.
  • Validation + testing mindset: Demonstrates habits for verifying correctness (logs, quick checks) and can add/describe basic unit tests where appropriate.
  • Strong debugging skills, particularly in diagnosing and resolving production issues

Compensation:

  • The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $3,800 - $5,800 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
  • This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
  • The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.

Here are the steps for this process:
Application review/approval > Screening interview with GoFasti's team > We build and send your profile to our client > Profile review/approval by client > Interview with the client > Hiring and onboarding.

Once you apply for the job, our team will review your resume. If it meets the requirements, we will contact you and move forward in the process.

Note for Candidates Approached Directly:
If you were contacted directly by a member of our team and are interested in this opportunity, please do not apply through this link. Instead, reach out to the person who contacted you to coordinate a meeting.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
