About Arena Club

If you’re fascinated by sports cards and memorabilia, your search ends here. Arena Club is pioneering the collectibles domain by introducing the first-ever digital card show. Spearheaded by 5x World Series Champion Derek Jeter and serial entrepreneur Brian Lee, Arena Club has developed a fully digital marketplace. This innovative platform is built on trust, transparency, and fun, featuring grading & authentication, vaulting, and digital pack openings for collectors to build and showcase their collections in a personalized online showroom from anywhere in the world.

About the Role

We're looking for a 3D Motion Designer who's ready to own their craft inside a brand that's actively reshaping how collectibles are experienced. Your work will live inside the product, on national CTV campaigns, and across the digital marketing that drives one of the fastest-growing platforms in the hobby.

What You Will Do
  • Concept, design, and produce 3D motion assets using Cinema 4D as your primary tool
  • Animate product moments including pack openings, vault experiences, card reveals, and marketplace interactions
  • Create campaign visuals, social content, and assets that reflect Arena Club's premium brand positioning across sports, TCG, and entertainment categories
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure motion work aligns with brand standards and visual identity
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on motion specs and handoffs for in-app animations and interactive experiences
  • Develop motion guidelines and reusable animation systems that scale across platform and marketing channels
  • Stay ahead of motion trends in the design industry and the collectibles and sports space, bringing fresh creative ideas to the table
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional motion design experience with Cinema 4D as a core tool
  • A strong portfolio showcasing 3D animation, visual effects, and brand motion — not just static renders.
  • Fluency across the Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator is a major Plus
  • Experience designing motion for both social/digital advertising and product contexts
  • Proven ability to deliver polished, production-ready work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills. You can articulate creative decisions and take direction equally well.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing motion for large-format and broadcast-scale display environments
  • Background in or genuine passion for sports, collectibles, gaming, or culture-driven brands
The Arena Club Standard

From day one, you’re in the game. Trusted to deliver, expected to own outcomes, and driven to raise the bar higher than you thought possible. We don’t just execute — we innovate, compete, and win together.

If you want routine or predictability, you won’t find it here. But if you’re ambitious, relentless, and hungry to prove yourself on a team built to dominate — step into the arena. You’ll discover growth and reward here, unlike anywhere else.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
