Create 3D assets and FX in a production VFX environment using Maya (Houdini a plus). Model, texture, rig, light, render, and test composite FX; collaborate across pipeline tools and communicate effectively.

Position Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in a production environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Maya. Houdini is a plus.
- Solid asset building skills, including modeling and texturing and some rigging.
- Ability to develop, execute, light, render and test comp FX.
- Strong understanding of lighting/shading/texturing principles and techniques.
- A good understanding of animation and an eye for motion.
- A familiarity with pipeline issues, especially working between multiple packages.
- A familiarity with scripting e.g. Python, HScript or MEL is a plus.
- A working knowledge of at least one compositing application (e.g. Nuke) and a solid understanding of the compositing process is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
