The Instructional Designer develops and delivers high-impact learning programs with a focus on technical systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion), organizational processes, and employee development. This role leads endto-end instructional design projects, ensures compliance with accessibility standards, and serves as a strategic partner to departments for enterprise rollouts. The role also includes experience leading crossfunctional projects and contributing to strategic initiatives such as digital transformation, learning modernization, and enterprise system adoption. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively across departments to align learning strategies with larger organizational goals.

• Partner with department leaders and subject matter experts to assess training needs related to new systems, business processes, technical tools, or compliance requirements.

• Design and develop scalable, blended learning programs using ADDIE, SAM, or Agile methods.

• Translate complex technical or business processes into accessible, effective training content.

• Develop high-quality instructional materials including eLearning modules, virtual instructor-led training (vILT), guides, simulations, assessments, and job aids.

• Lead instructional design projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines

• Coach department trainers in learning tools and methodologies

• Develop and run reports demonstrating the effectiveness of training initiatives

• Manage instructional design projects independently and collaboratively

• Develop, implement, and evaluate training programs that support organizational goals

• Work across departments to support strategic digital and operational initiatives

• Mentor junior designers and promote continuous learning practices within the team

• Regularly communicates updates, feedback, and training outcomes to assigned supervisor

• Collaborate with department liaisons and functional experts

• Reinforce system use through supportive feedback, job aids, and follow-ups

• Manage training priorities aligned with system rollout and business needs

• Follow guidance provided by project leads or Employee Engagement.

• Creates clear, concise, and actionable communication for both instructional materials and change management messaging.

• Facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions and technical walk-throughs with professionalism and adaptability.

• Proactively identify and address learner barriers during training delivery and post-go-live support.

• Apply root-cause analysis to learning challenges and develop solutions that balance user needs, system constraints, and strategic goals.

• Collaborate with IT, HR, and business units to escalate and resolve cross-functional issues affecting learning outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Education, Organizational Development, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in instructional design, business process training, or systems training in complex organizations.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate and integrate complex web-based enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, LMS platforms, guided learning tools).

• Proven track record of adapting quickly to evolving system environments and supporting role-based learning experiences across platforms.

• Skilled in troubleshooting user experience challenges and translating technical workflows into learner-friendly formats.

• Experienced in creating process documentation, screen captures, simulations, and in-app learning tools to support just-in-time training and guided learning strategies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle Fusion, Learning Management Systems (Oracle LMS preferred), content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate), and collaborative platforms like SharePoint, Teams, and Zoom.

• Familiarity with data analytics tools and training evaluation dashboards (Power BI, Oracle Analytics) is a plus.

• Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made.

• Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively. Active Engagement - Understanding and responding effectively to communications from others.

• Skilled in tailoring training content and messaging to suit diverse audiences—from front-line staff to executives.
