Your Responsibilities
As a Verification Champion for John Deere in East Moline, IL, you will:
- Use a deep understanding of the software solution being implemented as well as understanding customer needs to ensure software meets those needs;
- Work with a global team (Des Moines, Mexico, and India) to establish a holistic verification plan;
- Set automation strategy for responsible platforms and work with software development teams and test automation engineer to implement.
- Up to 20% domestic travel required.
What Skills You Need
- 2 years of experience in software testing experience using automated test scripts to validate the implementation of software features in subsystem and integrated test environments including Vector Tools, Simulink, and ISTQB Certification
- 1 year of experience in Software in the Loop (SIL) experience to write automated test scripts, debug, and Simulators
- 2 years of experience in Hardware in the Loop (HIL) experience to write test scripts, measure hardware response, and conduct fault threshold testing
- 3 years of experience using CAN bus data recording and message processing tools, to support data measurements, calibrating and data evaluation using Vector CAN, CAN Analyzer, CANAPE, CAN Protocols, eDAQ, NI LabView, and Ethernet Protocols
- 3 years of experience in Vehicle System Testing (VIL) experience to write full vehicle level test plans to be performed at a test track or field site
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 3 years related experience.
