What you will be doing:
Selected candidate will be responsible for overall management, design, administration and optimization of compute systems and infrastructure for all business units that HAEA supports. Provide guidance and direction to technical staff in order to support HAEA business objectives.
Key roles & responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor the team to plan, operate and troubleshoot the support center's workload.
  • Provide guidance and direction for a broad range of technical solutions to install, upgrade, secure, tune, monitor, and maintain Compute systems: Windows, Solaris, RedHat, CentOS, AIX, IBMi, VMware and its underlining infrastructure (HP, DELL, Oracle, and IBM).
  • Identify program needs and coordinate solutions and support.
  • Design and oversee efficient, effective IT management processes.
  • Identify and resolve user/customer issues.
  • On-call 24x7 for operational support and onsite rotation for P1/P2 major incident management and emergency response.
Supervisory Responsibility
  • Manages the work efforts of supervisors/individual contributors.
  • Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.
  • Makes decisions based on unit objectives, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Manage onshore and offshore server engineers.
Decision Making/Discretion
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
Strategy Development
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.
What we require from you:
  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred or equivalent work experience (including 6+ years experience in Information Technology)
  • 10 Years managing a technical support team.
  • Experience leading a team in the integration and support of Windows, Solaris, RedHat, VMware,
  • CentOS, AIX and IBMi.
  • 7+ years of experience in managing compute and infrastructure.
  • ITIL certification preferred.
  • AWS and/or Azure certification preferred.

Base Salary Range: $150,000-$165,000
