We Make Remote Work Remarkable • TopTalent from LatAm

Hello! We are GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service. GoFasti bridges the gap between world-class developers and designers from LatAm and first-class companies around the globe.

We need an English-fluent Product Manager Technical / Product Owner, based in Mexico City, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Are you the one we are looking for?

Responsibilities:

  • Own the technical product vision and roadmap for platform capabilities, services, and APIs aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture.
  • Drive platform-first thinking to ensure solutions are reusable, scalable, and aligned to long-term strategy.
  • Translate customer and business needs into domain-aligned platform capabilities that enable multiple products and use cases.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on value, risk, dependencies, and architectural impact.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements that engineering teams can execute with minimal ambiguity.
  • Author, refine, and accept functional and technical user stories, features, and acceptance criteria, aligned to platform standards and architectural direction.
  • Decompose epics into well-defined, domain-aligned capabilities and features.
  • Ensure requirements address non-functional needs including performance, scalability, reliability, security, and operability.
  • Ensure stories are testable by design, with clear acceptance criteria, and partner with engineering and quality teams to embed testability, quality gates, and validation early in the delivery lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with product managers, technical program managers, engineering, and architecture teams to design and evolve domain-aligned platforms and services.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts including domains, bounded contexts, services, and contracts.
  • Understand system integrations, APIs, data flows, and dependencies; influence technical trade-offs with long-term sustainability in mind.
  • Evaluate designs for scalability, latency, resiliency, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance, security, and operational standards are embedded into product and platform design.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Operate with strong ownership and accountability for outcomes, timelines, and quality.
  • Drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces by defining structure, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
  • Balance speed, cost, quality, and long-term platform health in decision-making.
  • Define and track KPIs, adoption metrics, and operational health indicators for platform capabilities.
  • Use data, experimentation, and feedback loops to validate assumptions and evolve the roadmap.
  • Partner with engineering and operations to drive post-launch improvements and operational excellence.
  • Act as the voice of the business and technical customer across engineering, program management, UX, operations, security, and compliance.
  • Communicate clearly with leadership, presenting trade-offs, risks, and recommendations.
  • Align cross-functional teams around platform priorities and delivery plans.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Set a high bar for product clarity, technical rigor, and execution discipline.
  • Build strong partnerships across domains, functions, and geographies through influence and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or software engineering with a strong technical focus.
  • Proven experience owning and delivering technical products, platforms, APIs, or shared services.
  • Strong understanding of modern software development, including microservices, APIs, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and distributed systems.
  • Ability to read and reason about code and architecture (hands-on coding not required).
  • Experience delivering products from concept to launch in agile or hybrid environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

It´s a Plus:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (advanced degree a plus).
  • Background in software engineering or computer science.
  • Experience with domain-driven architecture, platform modernization, or large-scale enterprise systems.
  • Experience in regulated or highly scaled environments.
  • Strong use of metrics and analytics to guide product decisions.

Compensation:

  • The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $4,000 - $4,800 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
