Senior or Lead Big Data DevOps Engineer responsible for setting up, scaling, and maintaining Big Data infrastructure in private and public cloud environments. Drive improvement of infrastructure efficiency, lead architecture and design efforts, ensure availability and reliability of infrastructure, and build tools for operational tasks. Evaluate, design, and deploy monitoring tools. Requires 7+ years of experience with Hadoop, 3+ years of leading Big Data or DevOps teams, experience setting up Hadoop clusters of 1000+ nodes, knowledge of NoSQL databases, and proficiency in shell scripting. Nice to have experience with Prometheus, Snowflake, Graphite, Grafana, and Python or Perl scripting.
