MBA intern will research cross-functional user needs, identify system integrations, facilitate Salesforce tool planning and design with program managers and developers, and support change management through feedback sessions and user-team adoption. The role is a hybrid onsite internship within Waymo Operations, with emphasis on Salesforce design, program management, and preferably autonomous vehicle or technical startup experience.

Define technical vision and architecture for agentic, multi-agent systems that improve autonomous-driving event triage and evaluation. Lead development of scalable frameworks supporting dynamic reasoning, planning, tool use, self-reflection, and orchestration. Identify applications across the Waymo Driver evaluation lifecycle, establish roadmaps, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers. The role requires extensive software engineering and AI/ML expertise, technical leadership, and experience building complex production systems.

Lead procurement strategy for engineering services and R&D hardware, manage high-volume outsourced engineering contracts, negotiate complex commercial and IP terms, structure SOWs/NREs/JDM/ODM agreements, optimize manufacturing relationships, perform make-vs-buy analyses, partner with Legal on IP and cybersecurity, and present TCO to Finance and Hardware leadership to support rapid hardware prototyping and development.
