Reviews non-exempt employee timecards for accuracy and California wage-and-hour compliance. Audits timekeeping reports, tracks corrections, maintains Excel dashboards, supports payroll processing, follows up with employees and supervisors, prepares compliance communications, assists with training materials, and recommends process improvements. The role also supports internal audits and grant or labor-allocation tracking while maintaining confidentiality of payroll data.

Serve as primary legal advisor to nonprofit leadership, HR, and the Board on employment law, contracts, compliance, governance, litigation, investigations, and organizational risk. Manage outside counsel, negotiate legal documents, monitor regulatory changes, and provide practical guidance on sensitive workplace and business matters.

Leads local fundraising, donor stewardship, sponsorships, community partnerships, and signature events to achieve annual fundraising goals of approximately $875K–$900K. Manages local marketing, social media, public relations, storytelling, branded materials, and communications calendars. Collaborates with national development leadership, represents the organization publicly, engages volunteers, and tracks donor activity in databases while supporting services for veterans and their families.

Supports daily operations for veteran housing and supportive service programs. Responsibilities include maintaining client records, compliance documentation, financial tracking, grant administration, purchasing, vendor coordination, donor records, events, intake, recruitment support, employee compliance tracking, reporting, and administrative assistance. The role also coordinates resources and cross-functional projects to improve program effectiveness and service delivery.
