Provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the COO, including complex calendar and travel management, meeting governance, executive correspondence, stakeholder coordination, confidential matters, special projects, and event planning. The role manages executive office operations, tracks decisions and deliverables, coordinates board and leadership meetings, reviews expenses, prepares presentations and reports, and supports organizational priorities. This hybrid position requires 20% or less travel within California.

Leads the organization’s Program Quality and Compliance division, overseeing data management, evaluation, reporting, grant and regulatory compliance, quality monitoring, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. The role manages teams, budgets, strategic initiatives, and executive stakeholder engagement while translating program data into actionable insights. It requires executive leadership, strong communication, ethical decision-making, and expertise in education programs, grants management, regulatory compliance, business intelligence, and program evaluation.

Supports recruitment and employee placement activities, including resume review, phone screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, pre-employment testing, Live Scan fingerprinting, onboarding documentation, and candidate status tracking. Maintains recruiting reports, staffing charts, applicant tracking data, and surveys while coordinating with hiring managers and regional teams. Ensures compliance, confidentiality, timely communication, and staffing support across school sites.

The Controller leads accounting operations, financial close, GAAP and nonprofit compliance, revenue and grant accounting, audits, tax filings, treasury, internal controls, and financial reporting. The role manages accounting staff, improves processes through automation, partners with FP&A and operational leaders, supports forecasting and decision-making, and ensures accurate, timely financial information across entities and funding sources.
