The Claremont Colleges Services Benefits Overview

Provides executive leadership for alumni, family, volunteer, constituent experience, and institutional events programs. Develops engagement strategies aligned with institutional and campaign goals, oversees major events and external partnerships, builds volunteer and philanthropic pathways, manages budgets and teams, and uses data and CASE Alumni Engagement Metrics to assess impact. Collaborates across Advancement and the College to strengthen affinity, participation, belonging, donor engagement, and lifelong relationships.

Leads day-to-day operations and strategic growth of Pomona College’s life-income gift planning program. Advises teams and high-net-worth donors on charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, tax and estate planning, and blended gifts. Oversees proposals, agreements, compliance, processing, stewardship, communications, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination with Finance, Investments, Legal, Advancement Services, and external advisors. Supports campaign goals, donor cultivation, solicitation, and staff development.

Provide comprehensive administrative support for Anthropology and Sociology departments and two intercollegiate programs. Manage budgets, scheduling, course catalog updates, events and lecture series, faculty searches and promotion reviews, student employees, departmental databases and web pages, equipment lending, and office operations. Maintain confidential records, prepare reports and agendas, troubleshoot basic tech issues, and coordinate travel, catering, and publicity.
