Build and manage Tempo’s infrastructure stack, improve developer velocity and experience, maintain blockchain, validator, and explorer reliability, and support enterprise validator onboarding. The role involves production bare-metal and cloud environments, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, observability, Linux, networking, security hardening, troubleshooting, and tooling development using Rust, Go, or Python.

Build Tempo’s product security program from the ground up, including application, infrastructure, endpoint, and supply-chain security tooling. Identify and remediate production and development-pipeline risks, lead incident response through post-mortems, conduct secure design reviews, and establish scalable security practices. The role requires hands-on coding, deep incident-response expertise, strong infrastructure and application-security knowledge, and autonomous collaboration with engineering.

Build first-party applications on the Tempo blockchain and integrate Tempo into partner payment systems. Work with production-grade blockchain and money-movement flows, ship reliable systems, collaborate with technical and cross-functional stakeholders, travel to partners as needed, and feed field learnings back to improve product and developer experience.

Lead Tempo's social media strategy and content creation across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other channels. Produce and distribute social clips, blog posts, and event assets; manage live event coverage and community engagement. Track performance metrics, refine strategy, and collaborate with PMM, Events, Comms, and GTM teams to grow brand awareness and developer-enterprise engagement.

The IT Systems Engineer will architect and maintain Tempo's IT infrastructure, focusing on identity management, endpoint security, and automation, ensuring efficient provisioning and compliance.

Build and operate an internal Red Team to continuously find vulnerabilities across protocol, consensus, bridges, and execution clients. Develop Rust-based fuzzers and custom security tooling, simulate economic attacks on testnet, analyze game-theoretic risks (MEV, staking), and partner with engineering teams to review critical architecture and mitigate exploits.

Develop low-level systems for a layer-1 blockchain focusing on performance and collaboration in design and iteration processes.
