Directs primary and excess casualty claims involving emerging risks, long-term exposure, and significant coverage issues. Analyzes liability, damages, and coverage; develops litigation and resolution strategies; establishes reserves; identifies large losses; and communicates with internal and external stakeholders. Requires a Juris Doctorate, substantial insurance claims experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and some travel.

Manages underwriting support teams and people managers, overseeing hiring, training, performance, workflows, premium bookings, audits, workload planning, operational metrics, and continuous improvement. Partners with underwriting, claims, CAT, and centralized support teams to improve service delivery and eliminate manual processes. Leads cross-functional projects, supports reporting and headcount planning, and ensures effective underwriting team support.

Audit, review, and process Whole Farm Revenue Protection claims while ensuring policy, regulatory, and procedural compliance. Research and resolve complex claims, policy, and system issues; interpret crop insurance documentation; and collaborate with underwriters, adjusters, compliance staff, agents, and producers. The specialist supports training, process improvements, system issue resolution, and accurate customer service while maintaining knowledge of regional crops and farming practices. Travel may be required up to 25%.
