Build and own Sekai’s native Android foundation, including app architecture, navigation, lifecycle, permissions, notifications, deeplinks, session management, hybrid integrations, observability, testing, CI/CD, and release workflows. Partner cross-functionally to deliver reliable, responsive consumer experiences while establishing scalable engineering patterns and improving production quality across devices.

Build and ship end-to-end product features, debug and resolve production issues, partner with Product on UX and direction, use AI heavily for development and prototyping, and iterate quickly across the stack to improve quality and speed.

Lead technical execution across backend, frontend, mobile, AI, and data. Translate ambiguous product goals into technical plans, unblock hard engineering problems, coordinate cross-domain work, raise engineering quality, define hiring needs and technical evaluation standards, and build internal AI workflows to foster an AI-native engineering culture.

Owner of consumer product areas (creation, discovery, feed, sharing, retention). Turn ambiguous user problems into hypotheses, define metrics, analyze funnels/engagement, work with engineering/design/data to ship experiments, and use AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, prototyping, and execution in a fast startup environment.
