Processes payroll accurately and on time, including reviewing time-clock punches, correcting discrepancies, calculating pay data, and maintaining payroll records and reports. Responds to employee questions about paychecks and deductions, prepares submissions and documents, completes data entry and filing, and protects confidential information. The role also requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and payroll systems.

Leads HR technology strategy, Dayforce administration, system configuration, workflow automation, people analytics, reporting, data governance, and HR process improvement. Partners with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Operations, and executives to optimize systems, integrations, employee data, and user experience. Oversees enhancements, implementations, testing, access management, documentation, training, and workforce analytics supporting organizational growth.

Leads multi-state payroll operations, ensuring accurate and compliant processing, payroll tax reporting, audits, reconciliations, and internal controls. Manages and develops payroll staff, improves processes through automation and technology, partners with HR, Finance, Benefits, and Operations, and provides payroll reporting and employee support. Supports organizational growth, acquisitions, system implementations, and scalable payroll practices.

Administers the Learning Management System, coordinates training programs, designs instructional content using ADDIE, delivers virtual new-hire orientation, tracks training activities, manages course materials and evaluations, and provides employee support. The role also assists with needs assessment, program implementation, reporting, process improvement, and training event follow-up.

Coordinates internal and external communications, social media, blogs, vlogs, websites, digital campaigns, and multimedia content. Develops written, visual, and video materials; manages communication calendars, brand standards, digital assets, vendors, and stakeholder messaging. Tracks website, social, email, and video analytics to improve engagement and campaign performance while ensuring privacy, consent, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.

Leads legal operations and governance, including contract lifecycle management, legal technology implementation, litigation and claims workflows, M&A due diligence, corporate records, compliance tracking, vendor management, and outside counsel oversight. Partners with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to streamline legal processes, implement governance frameworks, drive technology adoption, and monitor legal department performance metrics.

Serves as the strategic HR partner to regional operations leaders, advising on employee relations, investigations, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, workforce analytics, staffing, organizational design, and change management. The role supports compliance, employee experience, talent programs, and continuous improvement while collaborating with HR centers of excellence. Regular travel to California operating locations is required.

Processes vendor invoices, payment runs, vendor records, employee expenses, and corporate card transactions. Reconciles statements, resolves discrepancies, supports month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, audit readiness, and acquisition integrations. The role also responds to vendor inquiries, maintains internal controls, identifies AP automation opportunities, and collaborates with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, Procurement, and integration teams.

Develop and submit grant proposals, budgets, financial reports, and supporting documentation. Research funding opportunities, manage the full grant lifecycle, maintain grant calendars and records, ensure compliance, and coordinate with program and finance teams. Support strategic fundraising and program development while maintaining relationships with funders and meeting reporting deadlines.
