Directs accounting and administrative functions for an assigned homebuilding market. Oversees accounting staff, GAAP compliance, internal controls, monthly financial reporting, budget-to-actual analysis, forecasting, and audit coordination. Partners with functional leaders and National Shared Services to support division operations. Provides coaching, staffing, performance management, and employee development while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Performs monthly accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, SOX documentation, variance analysis, financial reporting, cash flow projections, forecasts, and year-end tax packages. Coordinates with shared services and supports special projects while managing multiple deadlines.

Prepares monthly journal entries, financial reports, cash flow projections, and supporting SOX documentation. Verifies accounting classifications and journal-entry accuracy, coordinates accounting matters across the division and National Shared Services, and manages multiple deadlines. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, at least three years of general accounting or finance experience, strong accounting knowledge, communication skills, and analytical ability.
