Own aircraft-level integration of hybrid-electric propulsion systems for the Laila UAV. Lead architecture, requirements, interfaces, supplier coordination, trade studies, design reviews, verification, and bench, ground, and flight testing across motors, controllers, generators, batteries, high-voltage distribution, and related mechanical, electrical, thermal, and control systems.

Manage office operations in Long Beach while supporting accounting, HR, onboarding, payroll preparation, employee engagement, events, facilities, vendors, purchasing, access control, and leadership coordination. Process invoices and expenses, maintain employee and vendor records, coordinate onboarding and offboarding, support company culture, oversee supplies and building services, and implement scalable administrative processes in a startup aerospace environment.

Own controls, embedded software, and simulation infrastructure for SiC-based propulsion power electronics in UAV and hybrid-electric VTOL programs. Design motor-drive, rectifier, and converter control algorithms; develop hybrid-system energy management; build MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, and PLECS models; establish MIL/SIL/HIL testing; deliver C/C++ firmware on DSP platforms; integrate communications and hardware; and support aerospace certification processes including DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP4754B.

Design, analyze, and integrate mechanical and thermal systems for high-power hybrid-electric propulsion. Lead rotating machinery development, CAD and drawing creation, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and design improvements. Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, supplier, test, and flight teams while mentoring engineers and contributing to technical standards and propulsion strategy.

The Sr. Power Electronics Hardware Engineer designs and develops SiC-based propulsion electronics for UAV and hybrid-electric aircraft, ensuring hardware meets aerospace standards and performance requirements.

Design, implement, and integrate software for advanced unmanned aircraft systems, focusing on real-time control, telemetry, and system validation.

The Intern will support the development and integration of an advanced aircraft system, engage in hardware/software integration, and participate in testing and verification processes involving various mission equipment.

The intern will assist in building and integrating UAV platforms, handle hardware setup, perform testing, and document procedures, while gaining hands-on experience in robotics and autonomous systems development.
