Nirvana Insurance Benefits Overview

Lead strategy and operations across business operations, marketing, safety, and insurance operations. Own planning, performance management, operating cadences, cross-functional initiatives, automation, partnership evaluation, growth opportunities, and board preparation. Build scalable processes, dashboards, and reporting systems while leading a 15-person multifunctional organization and advising executive leadership on resource allocation, business performance, and execution.

Develops new commercial insurance programs by expanding relationships with reinsurance brokers, fronting carriers, MGAs, and underwriting leaders. Sources and evaluates market opportunities, builds a pipeline across insurance lines, structures business cases, secures capacity partners, and supports program launches. Partners with senior leadership on portfolio strategy and diversification. The role requires an established insurance network, program origination experience, strong communication, hands-on execution, and comfort using AI for research and pipeline development.

Owns the finance function for Nirvana Insurance Services, including FP&A, accounting close, ASC 606 revenue recognition, premium trust funding, reinsurance economics, agency agreements, audits, and board reporting. Serves as the financial partner to business-unit leaders, builds shared financial processes and reporting, oversees Accounting and FP&A teams, and hires and leads a small finance team.
