Performs quality investigations for NCRs, CAPAs, SCARs, and complaints; analyzes quality KPIs and trends; supports process and equipment validations, engineering changes, audits, DHR reviews, and product release. Collaborates with Quality Assurance, Operations, and Engineering to resolve quality issues, improve processes, maintain procedures and systems, and ensure compliance with medical device regulations and standards.

Supports Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service through sales analytics, reporting, CRM administration, forecasting, quota and compensation analysis, process improvement, and technology initiatives. Develops dashboards, analyzes business performance and customer trends, maintains data integrity, trains CRM users, and collaborates cross-functionally on business initiatives and product launches.

Lead and deliver new medical device R&D projects end-to-end, managing scope, schedule, budget, cross-functional stakeholders, and portfolio decisions. Mentor junior leads, drive consensus, ensure regulatory compliance (FDA/international), and improve development efficiency.

Lead quality engineering for medical device design assurance across product lifecycle. Provide independent oversight of design controls, risk management (ISO 14971), verification/validation, design transfer, supplier controls, and regulatory compliance (FDA QMSR, ISO 13485, EU MDR). Partner with cross-functional teams, review/approve V&V strategies and reports, apply statistical methods, support clinical and manufacturing readiness, resolve complex quality issues, and mentor quality engineers.

Lead planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory strategy to ensure consistent material availability, reduce shortages, improve supplier performance, implement MRP/SAP-based planning processes, and build repeatable warehouse and procurement systems. Manage and develop a team, drive inventory and supplier scorecards, mitigate supplier risk, and partner cross-functionally to align supply decisions with product development and production needs.

Lead and develop supplier quality engineering staff and programs for medical device suppliers. Oversee supplier selection, qualification, audits, CAPAs, PPAP, change control, risk management, KPIs, and cross-functional improvement efforts. Advise leadership on supplier performance, strategy, and compliance with medical device regulations.

The Senior Principal Engineer designs and develops medical devices, overseeing all product development phases, managing resources, and mentoring junior engineers.
