Serves as the technical liaison between fintech stakeholders, core banking teams, shared services, and vendors. Assesses payment and account integration requirements, designs funds and data flows, diagnoses non-standard technical needs, scopes new integration capabilities, and leads cross-functional discussions through documented, supportable solutions. Provides consultative guidance on ACH, wire, check/image processing, file formats, and secure data exchange configurations.

Manages fintech client onboarding and implementation programs from kickoff through testing and go-live. Builds implementation plans, coordinates Compliance, BSA/AML, Risk, Legal, Operations, Technology, and external partners, tracks milestones and dependencies, leads status meetings, escalates risks, supports readiness reviews and audits, and maintains implementation documentation. The role manages multiple concurrent engagements while translating regulatory requirements into practical tasks and checkpoints without owning the underlying subject-matter expertise.

Lead and oversee MVB's enterprise fraud program, managing policy, incident response, investigations, exam remediation, tooling, KPIs, training, and cross-functional escalations for fintech and retail banking.

The Fintech Counsel will manage legal affairs related to fintech partnerships, including contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and relationship management with partners. Requires expertise in payments and legal requirements.

Prepare and analyze internal and external financial reporting (SEC, FDIC, Federal Reserve, FHLB, board, management, ad hoc). Develop and maintain reports from Prologue, Cognos, Jack Henry, and Workiva. Automate reporting processes, support audits/examinations, provide financial analysis and presentations for senior management, and perform special financial reporting projects.
