The role requires substantial fab-floor work, collaboration across development and production teams, safe vacuum-tool operation, and independent execution.

Leads epitaxy manufacturing and engineering across Goleta and Fremont operations for GaN laser products. Oversees epitaxial technology development, capacity planning, reactor allocation, production execution, budgeting, supplier interactions, and continuous improvement. Drives yield, cost, capacity, cycle-time, and product-performance improvements while providing hands-on technical guidance. Recruits, mentors, and develops engineering leaders and staff, manages complex projects, and ensures organizational goals, timelines, and production plans are achieved.
