Leads the architecture, design, modeling, fabrication, characterization, optimization, and production qualification of semiconductor lasers and active photonic devices. Defines device specifications, epitaxial structures, optical designs, mask layouts, verification methods, and technology roadmaps. Builds the operating model, tiered support function, SLAs, escalation processes, tooling, knowledge base, and distributed team. Partners with engineering, product, mission operations, and channel partners while serving government, defense, enterprise, and international customers.

Develop and optimize quantum algorithms and applications for scientific and commercial impact, collaborating with partners and driving innovation.

Designs and engineers automated internal audit workflows that enable continuous assurance. Responsibilities include re-engineering audit processes, orchestrating AI agents, developing prompt and agent libraries, integrating Power Automate and GRC platforms, automating document and population testing, creating real-time risk dashboards, and ensuring AI governance, privacy, explainability, and human validation. The role requires technical audit transformation experience, LLM orchestration, automation platforms, SQL or Python, data governance, and data warehouse expertise.

Associate General Counsel supporting IonQ’s product and research teams across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include advising on strategic partnerships, licensing, joint development, supply and manufacturing arrangements, and complex technology transactions. The role will build product legal processes, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and translate legal, product, engineering, and business considerations into actionable guidance.

Drive customer adoption of IonQ’s quantum computing platform through technical onboarding, performance optimization, circuit design, troubleshooting, training content, and workshops. Serve as a technical advisor and internal customer advocate while tracking customer health metrics, supporting product improvements, and representing IonQ at industry forums. Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and cloud platform teams.

Leads global commercial alliances with major hyperscalers, including AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, and Oracle. Owns joint business plans, co-sell motions, customer qualification, quantum capacity resale, marketplace routes, pricing, negotiations, pipeline, and revenue growth. Builds lighthouse partnerships, customer references, repeatable sales playbooks, and regional execution models for IonQ’s quantum computing and related technologies. Requires extensive hyperscaler alliance experience, emerging-technology commercialization expertise, executive communication, cross-functional leadership, and global travel.

Develop and scale selected reseller, distributor, systems integrator, telecommunications, hyperscaler, and consulting partnerships across the Americas. Lead partner strategy, co-selling, customer qualification, solution development, negotiations, pipeline forecasting, and commercialization of IonQ’s quantum portfolio. Build lighthouse engagements into referenceable wins, repeatable sales motions, and scalable channels while coordinating regional sales, global alliance, engineering, marketing, and program teams.

Owns IonQ’s sales strategy and account relationships across state, local, and academic institutions in the Northwest. Responsibilities include developing executive relationships, identifying opportunities, building quantum technology sales pipelines, qualifying deals, creating proposals, negotiating agreements, closing business, and supporting customer satisfaction. The role requires extensive quota-carrying technology sales experience in the SLED market and familiarity with emerging technologies such as quantum computing and AI/ML.

Own global alliances with selected advisory and consulting partners, including joint business plans, executive relationships, co-selling, pipeline, forecasting, and commercial outcomes. Lead customer discovery and solution development across quantum computing, networking, security, sensing, and space. Coordinate global and regional teams, build partner capabilities, secure referenceable wins, and convert early engagements into repeatable sales motions, playbooks, and scalable revenue channels.

Partners with IonQ leaders on financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, spending controls, and company-wide initiatives. The role supports cross-functional decision-making, improves planning systems, and contributes to investor relations and corporate development activities. It requires strong financial modeling, communication, and analytical skills, with a focus on a rapidly growing quantum technology business.
