The Chief Acquisition Specialist advises on acquisition strategies, prepares reports, coordinates meetings, and assesses contractor progress and funding commitments for cyber programs.

Provide acquisition and systems engineering support to U.S. Space Forces program offices, advising on acquisition planning, source selection, contract structure, cost/schedule/budget integration, requirements traceability, interface management, and program documentation to enable space and ground system capabilities.

Support Space Systems Command by providing systems engineering and integration expertise. Develop and review Technical Orders, manuals, and IETMs; evaluate equipment configurations, spares, and support concepts; advise CM office, TOMA, and government stakeholders to ensure space and ground systems meet warfighter needs.

Analyze policy compliance across space and ground system program plans, development, test & evaluation, upgrades, operations and sustainment to ensure adherence to AFI 63-101/20-101, SSC standards, NG OPIR, SBIRS and Weather SEPs. Produce written analyses per CDRL and support customer engagement and working groups.
