Hoag Benefits Overview

Provides direct, evidence-based nursing care to maternal-child health patients in Irvine Perinatology and related departments. Responsibilities include assessments, interventions, medication administration, pain management, specimen collection, patient education, discharge planning, and collaboration with healthcare teams. The nurse also participates in hospital committees, communicates with the Unit Practice Council, and completes supplemental activities. Required qualifications include a BSN, three years of acute-care RN experience, California RN licensure, BLS, specialty certification, fetal monitoring, ultrasound, and department-specific credentials.

Provide safety and security for Hoag properties through proactive patrols, incident response, camera and badge-system audits, investigations, report writing, dispatcher duties, and enforcement of policies while completing required training and certifications.

Provide direct perioperative patient care in the Heart Catheterization Lab including assessments, medication administration, pain management, specimen collection, telemetry monitoring, patient teaching and discharge planning. Participate in clinical ladder activities, committees, education projects, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
