Build evaluation frameworks, datasets, sandbox environments, and metrics for production AI agents. Design experiments to compare models, tools, harnesses, and execution environments; investigate failures; and improve agent reliability, performance, and cost. Contribute to agent infrastructure, reusable knowledge systems, internal tooling, and integrations while collaborating with research, engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams. This applied research role combines production-quality software engineering with open-ended experimentation.

Assistant General Counsel will own commercial contracting, negotiate client and partner agreements, advise Product and Engineering on legal and regulatory issues, and support corporate, governance, employment, IP, privacy, compliance, financing, and disputes matters. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role will serve as second-in-command while building legal templates, playbooks, intake processes, contract management systems, and automation for a growing onchain financial business.

Design, implement, deploy, and operate on-chain vault strategies end-to-end: research, backtesting, execution, risk controls, integrations with protocols/chains, monitoring, and on-call production ownership.

Own end-to-end origination, structuring, negotiation, and activation of high-value Earn partnerships for Gauntlet's vault products. Source greenfield opportunities, manage pipeline and CRM hygiene, drive partner activation post-signature, collaborate with Product/Engineering/Data Science/Finance, and represent Gauntlet at industry events to hit quota.
