Own Fundrise’s tax function across REITs, RICs, TRSs, corporations, partnerships, and opportunity funds. Lead technical tax positions, risk assessment, compliance, investor reporting, transaction structuring, ASC 740 provisions, external advisor oversight, process automation, and a small senior team. Partner with Finance, Legal, Real Estate, Venture, Engineering, executives, auditors, and investors in a remote, rapidly evolving environment.

Lead and manage an API engineering team owning core services for Fundrise investor applications. Set technical direction, coach engineers, drive architecture, ensure production quality, security, monitoring, and coordinate cross-team delivery.

Provide high-volume investor support, resolve account issues, explain Fundrise products and investment structures, evaluate and improve AI tools and responses, and help develop scalable processes to support a growing retail investor base.
