Responsibilities include PCB and power delivery design, signal integrity and EMI/EMC, motor and laser driver circuits, transimpedance amplifiers, vendor integration, thermal and qualification testing, system integration, and hardware-in-the-loop validation.

Design, build, test, and flight-qualify coherent optical transceivers and free-space optical assemblies. Own optical system performance from RF to free-space and back, perform optical design and ray tracing, develop bench test plans, characterize modulation and coherent detection, and verify free-space performance for flight and mass manufacturing.

Responsibilities include PCB and power delivery design, signal integrity and EMI/EMC compliance, motor and laser driver design, photodiode TIA development, thermal and qualification testing, hardware integration, and collaboration with firmware, mechanical, and fabrication teams for flight hardware.

Design, build, test, and flight-qualify optical systems for space networking: coherent transceivers and free-space optics. Own optical layout, ray tracing, tolerancing, opto-mechanical packaging, and characterize performance (EVM, sensitivity, wavefront, pointing, stray light) through bench and environmental testing to scale to flight and mass manufacturing.

Design and develop space-qualified electronics across high-speed digital networking, optical transceivers, and precision optical terminal electronics. Duties include PCB and power delivery design, signal integrity and EMI/EMC compliance, motor and laser driver circuits, photodiode transimpedance amplifiers, thermal and qualification testing, system integration with firmware and spacecraft bus, and supporting fabrication, HITL testing, and mission integration activities.

Lead end-to-end design, build, test, and flight-qualification of coherent optical transceivers and free-space optical assemblies. Perform optical design, ray tracing, tolerancing, stray-light/ghost analysis, opto-mechanical packaging, and characterize modulation quality, receiver sensitivity, wavefront performance, pointing stability, and thermal/EM performance to scale bench hardware to space-qualified manufacturing.
