Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) Benefits Overview

Leads a team of Test Engineers conducting environmental, mechanical, and explosive testing across the product life cycle. Oversees test planning, execution, data analysis, documentation, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and qualification reviews. Develops engineers, improves test processes and laboratory capabilities, supports troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, quality, EHS, program management, and customers. This is an on-site, first-shift role in Moorpark, California.

Fabricate precision-machined aerospace and defense parts using manual and CNC mills and lathes. Read blueprints, develop machining strategies, select tooling, create fixtures, adjust CNC tools and offsets, apply appropriate cutting parameters, inspect parts with precision equipment, troubleshoot production issues, machine prototypes, deburr components, and communicate technical information with engineering.

Leads quality engineering activities across aerospace and defense manufacturing programs from proposal through shipment. Responsibilities include customer and supplier audits, quality system maintenance, corrective and preventive actions, nonconformance analysis, supplier corrective actions, process improvement, production quality oversight, and collaboration with engineering. The role requires expertise in ISO 9001/AS9100, GD&T, SPC, supplier quality, precision machining, assembly operations, and Lean Manufacturing. Travel up to 10% is required.
