The Senior Director will lead Economic Security California’s policy strategy, advocacy campaigns, coalition-building, legislative engagement, communications, fundraising, budgeting, and organizational growth. The role oversees efforts involving guaranteed income, tax credits, antimonopoly policy, AI regulation, and public options. This leader will recruit and manage staff, cultivate philanthropic and political relationships, serve as the organization’s primary spokesperson, expand California’s statewide presence, and collaborate with national leadership to strengthen the state affiliate model.
