Prepares and analyzes schedules for public works construction projects and programs. Reviews contractor baseline and monthly progress schedules, develops contract time requests and as-built schedules, supports claims analysis, interprets construction documents, and trains staff on scheduling practices and software.

Supports construction inspectors by handling project paperwork, assisting with inspections, conducting field observations, reporting findings, coordinating with contractors and project personnel, and following up on documentation. May also perform underground storm-drain inspections, investigate illicit connections, process permit applications, enter data, and provide customer service. Construction knowledge requirements increase from Level 1 through Level 3.
