Lead wetware integration of protein biosensors with surfaces, materials, and readout hardware. Design diagnostic assays to deconvolute biosensor vs. interface failure, run directed evolution, synthesize/adapt interface materials, merge devices with proteins, and automate fabrication/assay workflows to enable in‑vivo studies.

Design and validate novel biosensors combining allosteric switches, reporters, chemical modifications, and bioelectronic interfaces. Lead construct design, guide wet-lab screening, integrate device feedback, and mentor junior scientists and external collaborators to optimize performance and workflows.

Run and automate wet-lab workflows to evolve, express, purify, and characterize protein biosensors. Perform biophysical and device-relevant assays, generate quantitative performance metrics, support screening and directed evolution, and collaborate with engineering teams to scale reproducible assays.

Manage financial operations for Convergent and its FROs, overseeing monthly close, reconciliations, treasury, AR/AP, payroll, grant financial oversight and reporting, audit readiness including 990s, and improvements to systems, controls, and SOPs while translating finance to non-finance stakeholders.

Lead and scale communications across a portfolio of Focused Research Organizations and Convergent's own channels: coach scientific founders, run workshops, manage internal newsletters and digital channels, curate vendor networks, coordinate press, and build repeatable systems using AI and operations discipline.
