The Events Director designs, plans, and executes major fundraising, donor, corporate, community, milestone, and staff events. Responsibilities include managing event strategy, creative direction, budgets, sponsorship activations, vendors, venues, staffing, logistics, timelines, and live production. The role partners across development, marketing, corporate partnerships, and program teams to increase revenue, strengthen donor relationships, and deliver engaging experiences. It also provides broader site support and requires occasional evening, weekend, and local travel commitments.

Lead development and execution of a strategic marketing and communications plan to raise awareness, manage branding, storytelling, media relations, fundraising communications, and digital content. Serve on senior leadership, manage a Sr. Marketing & Communications Manager, collaborate cross-departmentally, and represent City Year Los Angeles in community and public forums.

Manage student and AmeriCorps member data collection, transformation, and reporting. Build and maintain data models and visualizations (Power Query/Power BI), administer assessment and Salesforce platforms, design training and resources, respond to data requests, and support cross-departmental stakeholders to monitor program impact and improve student outcomes.
