Lead a team of four accountants to manage day-to-day accounting operations, serve as hands-on backup for transactional work, oversee grant and government contract financial management, ensure month-end close and GAAP-compliant reporting, manage tax filings (1099, CA Sales & Use), improve processes in Financial Edge NXT and Excel, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Provide independent legal representation for children in dependency proceedings: investigate cases, prepare motions and briefs, litigate in court, collaborate with multidisciplinary providers, advocate for client services, maintain case files and calendars, and communicate sensitively with clients and families.

Conduct in-person visits with children, families, schools, and hospitals to document living conditions, developmental and safety concerns, and service needs. Interview clients and caretakers, make referrals, assist attorneys, attend meetings (IEP, DCFS, TDM), maintain caseloads, prepare written reports, and exercise independent judgment while advocating for child welfare.

Represent children in dependency proceedings: investigate cases, prepare motions/briefs, conduct legal research, advocate in court, collaborate with social workers, service providers and other attorneys, manage caseloads and client communications, and ensure culturally sensitive representation.

Provide legal representation for children in dependency proceedings: evaluate cases, investigate facts, prepare motions and pleadings, litigate in court, negotiate, prepare witnesses, coordinate services (education, medical, mental health), and maintain case files, calendars, and timely reporting while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and collaboration with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Provide intensive legal representation to up to 60 youth/young adult CSEC clients in dependency court, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, coordinate with community and county agencies, develop provider relationships, assist policy team, deliver and receive CSEC training, and collaborate with the CLC CSEC team to ensure clients access services for transition from foster care.
