Over the past 12 months, the team at Built In LA spoke with dozens of tremendously talented and knowledgeable individuals, learned about cutting-edge technologies and forged relationships in LA and Orange Counties that will last a lifetime, and we had a blast doing it. With another new year coming up fast, here were our favorite tech stories from 2017.

Whether it’s the bevy of tech companies in Silicon Valley or the bright lights of New York City, the U.S. has no shortage of major tech hubs, but Southern California proved over the last few years that it is growing just as quickly as its contemporaries.
