Owns purchasing and sourcing of direct spacecraft materials, including supplier strategy, negotiations, contracts, spend management, cost reduction, and material flow. Complete a 12-week software engineering internship focused on test and automation for satellite platform systems. Design, analyze, build, and test projects spanning ground support equipment and flight hardware. Interns own projects from start to finish, collaborate with engineering teams, receive mentorship, and participate in aerospace learning and community sessions.

Design and integrate electric propulsion systems for spacecraft buses, including architecture, fluidic systems, instrumentation, controls, power and mass budgets. Develop manufacturing procedures, qualification and acceptance test plans, and support environmental and hot-fire testing. Manage Windows, macOS, mobile, and Linux environments; administer Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools; build automation with PowerShell, Bash, and Python; provide Tier 3 support; and lead infrastructure projects, documentation, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.

RF/Communications Engineering Interns will support satellite communications subsystem development through antenna measurements, active and passive testing, radio spectrum measurements, and radio performance characterization. Interns will work on an assigned project with mentorship and collaborate with the broader aerospace engineering team. Candidates must be pursuing electrical engineering and demonstrate proficiency in RF design, RF measurement techniques, or software-defined radios.

Mechanical Engineering Interns will help develop deployable satellite structures for spacecraft platforms. Responsibilities include contributing to Comet XL and Comet Mini projects, using NX CAD, building hardware, and working with electromechanical systems and soft goods. The Spacecraft Structures Test Engineer will oversee validation of flight hardware through structural and mechanical testing, collaborating with various teams to ensure spacecraft functionality in real environments.

Design, build, and operate highly available ground and site network infrastructure across commercial and secured environments. Architect Kubernetes platforms, enforce security and compliance controls, develop Terraform-based infrastructure as code, and establish monitoring, logging, alerting, CI/CD, and automation. Serve as a site reliability owner for mission-critical systems, driving uptime and incident response. Partner with security and mission operations teams, define architectural standards, and mentor engineers.
