Performs advanced general accounting activities, including monthly close, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, quarterly and year-end reporting, audit support, and financial data verification. Provides guidance to Staff Accountants and supports special projects while ensuring accurate, timely processing and compliance with accounting standards.

Performs general accounting functions throughout monthly, quarterly, and year-end cycles. Prepares journal entries, account reconciliations, reports, joint venture schedules, audit documentation, and financial analyses. Supports management information requests, monitors processing deadlines, and assists with internal and external audits. Requires accounting knowledge, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with accounting software; real estate experience and specific platforms are preferred.

Performs companywide financial analysis, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Produces operational metrics, executive summaries, scenario models, and supporting documents for public filings, including SEC filings. Partners with department leaders during annual budgeting and interprets complex operational and financial data. Requires advanced Excel skills, knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance, and strong communication, planning, and organizational abilities.

Administer and support Workday financial modules (Accounting Center, Prism, Adaptive Planning, payroll, spend management), manage releases and integrations, lead configuration and implementation projects, troubleshoot incidents and data integrity issues, create documentation and test plans, and coordinate vendors to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient financial system operations.

Design, build, and maintain scalable real-time and batch data pipelines and platform architecture. Ensure data quality, enable BI/AI/ML productionization, mentor engineers, and deploy data products and ML models.
