Lead a public charter school’s instructional vision, staff development, scholar achievement, college and career readiness, school culture, safety, and operational effectiveness. The Principal supervises assistant principals, coaches and evaluates educators, uses data to improve instruction, develops talented teams, engages families and communities, allocates resources, and implements organizational systems aligned with the network’s equity and anti-racist mission.

Leads non-instructional school operations, including compliance, finance, procurement, attendance, enrollment, student data, nutrition, facilities, health and safety, and family engagement. Manages and develops the operations team, designs school-wide systems, oversees budgets and reporting, supports emergency preparedness, and partners with the principal and leadership team to drive operational excellence and scholar outcomes.

The Assistant Principal serves as an instructional and cultural leader, coaching and evaluating teachers, improving scholar outcomes through data-driven instruction, supporting professional development, and maintaining high academic standards. The role also builds positive staff and school cultures, oversees student support systems, develops relationships with families and colleagues, and leads non-instructional functions such as testing, compliance, enrollment, and student activities.
