As a Sales Associate at AGent Energy, you'll generate leads through outreach, qualify potential clients, and support sales strategies using modern tools, while driving the company's mission to transform energy resources.

Lead both product and engineering for an AI-driven distributed energy platform: own roadmap and customer discovery, prioritize and demo features, run engineering cadence and architecture for 24/7 operation, hire and grow teams, make build-vs-buy decisions, manage unit economics, and report to leadership and board.

Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; prepare financial statements, variance analysis, and cash reconciliations. Manage customer payments and commissions accounting, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive automation and process improvements using Excel and ERP tools to scale finance operations.

Lead market strategy and operations for wholesale energy participation across US ISO/RTOs. Own end-to-end MW lifecycle (registration, offers, dispatch, settlement), build market protocols and tools, engage regulators and ISO/RTO stakeholders, support GTM with commercial intelligence, and lead an Energy Markets team. Use data, modeling, and Python/SQL to optimize performance and inform strategic prioritization.

Operate and scale systems for distributed generation participation in wholesale energy markets: support registration, offers, dispatch, settlement; acquire and analyze market and asset data; build forecasts, KPIs, reports, and dashboards; improve processes and tools; integrate with engineering and support GTM with market intelligence.

Own QA for AGent's end-to-end platform spanning cloud backend, IoT device communication, embedded firmware, and customer applications. Design and run functional, integration, regression, and E2E tests; build automation integrated into GitHub Actions; validate high-volume telemetry and TimescaleDB behavior; create device simulation frameworks; collaborate cross-functionally; document coverage and defects; use AI tools to accelerate testing and quality improvements.
